About

Where the approach comes from.

I grew up around unreliable power, slow networks, and people who still needed software to work. So I build with fewer moving parts, clear ownership, and interfaces that stay calm when everything around them isn’t.

I build LLM-powered products end to end, and I care as much about the edge cases and the handover as I do about the demo.

How I think

Calm by default, opinionated about clarity. When there is a boring way to build it, I take the boring way.

  • FaithThe quiet frame around how I treat people and handle pressure.
  • TravelEvery new city rewires how I think about scale and infrastructure.
  • TrainingThe one feedback loop that never flatters you.
  • KayakingWhere the good ideas turn up, usually an hour afterwards.
  • MentoringStudents and junior engineers. The part of the work that compounds.
  • LearningStill comfortable saying ‘I don’t know yet.’

I mentor students and share what I learn for free. I’m working on saying it better: writing more, and speaking in the small rooms first.
